We experience some awesome and stunning sunrise, sunsets and rainbows with the amazing backdrop of mountains and hills.
The sunrise and moon rise is often breathtaking as it appears over the horizon.
We are close to the famous and historical French Pass Village and Rangitoto ki te Tonga/D” Urville Island connection.
At French Pass there is a spectacular and narrow, rocky, turbulent sea current with a rip tide between the Mainland and Rangitoto ki te Tonga/D” Urville Island.

Location and a bit of History
Situated in Pelorus at the Northern end of Hallam Cove, Marlborough Sounds. A Beautiful lifestyle block elevated and stretching from the bay waterfront and rising to the Ridgeline Saddle with views over Hamilton Bay to De’Urville Isand and beyond to the Tasman Sea. Convenient and close to boat ramps. A Paradise In the amazing and beautiful outer Marlborough Sounds of New Zealand. The Sounds have been a major transport and communication network for Marlborough for 100’s of years dating back from the earliest of human history in the upper South Island.
The Pelorus Sound is still connected by a regular mail and delivery service known as the PELORUS MAIL BOAT. It is based in Havelock visiting and servicing many out lying and remote properties and communities. This trip is an amazing day out attraction for locals and tourists with picturesque scenery and frequent opportunities to watch the dolphins play.
The Pelorus Sound is extensive and interconnected with several other waterways and contains commercial marine farms and a marine reserve.
